AT MSU

OVERVIEW

The Quantum Information Science & Quantum Computing Working Group (QIS & QC) is a part of Mississippi State University (MSU). We have an emphasis on Quantum Information Science but also explore technology 1, technology 2, and techology 3. More information about research can be found here.

We are a cross-discipline research group. We have members with backgrounds in: background 1, background 2, background 3.

This is more placeholder text to fill out the homepage and get an idea of what it will look like when it has more information influded on it. I have already included a funding section as that is something that was discussed previously. Perhaps we could include more information about where in MSU the group is housed, if applicable (that seems to be popular with other groups). In addition to this, however, there are several other things that could be included, besides the overview and funding sections. Things to include (pulled from examples of other websites) include:

  • A short blurb linking to the contact section and encouraging anyone to reach out who would like to
  • More detail about topics that the group is interested in/ working on within the field
  • A list of recent news/ announcements (note: some websites choose to list a great deal of news on their home pages. However, if we wish to do something similar perhaps it would be best to only keep a couple of the most recent items on the home page and make a seperate page for other news)
  • Some background about the researchers/ team members within the group to give viewers an idea of the makeup/ specialization of each member


FUNDING

This section will contain sources of funding & grants for the group. Perhaps it could also include images/ logo for the groups, if available. It could be easily adjusted as new sources of funding are secured.
